Nicole took photography and videography courses while in school. She found a lot of joy in the artistic expression photography offered. Nature and studio shoots have become her favorite use of the camera, though she is excited to explore and apply her skills in new ways.

Nicole has always felt more at peace when surrounded by plants and life. She finds inspiration and beauty in the world around her. She is specifically fascinated by different textures, and her editing practices highlight the details.

Capstone
For her Capstone Project, Nicole decided to do a studio shoot and write a short magazine about her experience. For weeks, she sourced backdrops, lighting, venue space, a model, and more resources. On the day of the shoot, she set up the studio. Once the model arrived, Nicole directed the photoshoot, including the model and assistant. She took photos and videos, practicing different skills she'd learned. She sifted through thousands of photos, editing them and picking out the very best. Then she made a layout and put together her magazine, presenting her work for a final grade.
Product Photography
Nicole got to experience a very unique job, working in the E-Commerce Department for a local thrift store. She worked hands on with vintage and antique items. Clothes, purses, novelty phones, dishware, wedding dresses, collectibles, game consoles, instruments, you name it.
